Our face is a sensitive area of our body that we are hard on every day. Many women understand the difficulties of getting and maintaining beautiful skin however they may be spending large amounts of cash on something that can be made extremely simple.
The skin and more specifically the face is wind beaten, sun scorched, scrubbed, scratched, picked and just plain abused on a daily basis. Although the elements have a lot to do with what our skin is going through we do not have to settle for paying for synthetic products for quality skin care.
Here are some simple things to keep handy for quality affordable skin care.
First, clay is an essential in your internal and external health. Here we are focusing on the external but there are numerous ways clay is amazing for internal usage as well.
For the face, clay can be used as an exfoliate or even as a way to remove excess oils and debris from your pores in a gentle soothing way. With warm water (not hot) mix some clay in a ceramic bowl. Apply gently with fingers evenly all over your problem areas or just plain to the entire face. Of course leave your eye lids clay free for comfort and because the eyelid skin is overly sensitive and soft and may be irritated by clay.
Clay can be mixed with a little Olive Oil or Grape-seed Oil if one wanted to make a thicker mask.
You can leave the clay on for 20 to 30 minutes, letting it dry onto your face before gently rinsing it off; or you can keep it moist for 10 to 15 minutes while it softens skin.
Try using either of these techniques two or three times a week, or as needed.

Grape-seed Oil or Olive Oil are great for moisturizing the skin. Lotions with harsh perfumes and dyes are not needed. Grape-seed Oil and Olive Oil are simple and natural ways to moisten and smooth the skin. Just a small amount is needed on the palm of your hand. Rub hands together and gently massage into skin. It can be used on much more than just your face. Arms, hands, feet, legs are all equally happy to receive some natural anti-oxidant/ anti-inflammatory moisture.
They are sensitive enough for under eye usage. Trust me it does wonders for skin in a economic and healthy way!!!
